Keeping active during exam season

We wanted to wish good luck to all our players who are taking their end of year exams this summer.

We also wanted to highlight some of the great benefits of keeping active and exercising during this period, even though you will need to spend time studying.

Did you know that research has found a link between exercising and better academic performance?

Studies have shown that performing moderate exercise is related to improvements in working memory, whereas some studies have discovered that high-intensity exercise improves the speed of information processing.

Not only that, exams can sometimes bring upon feelings of anxiety and stress.

Exercise is a great way to alleviate those negative feelings.

Being active or playing sport has shown to calm us down and produce endorphins which makes us feel happier and up-beat.

So just remember, whilst it’s important to study, take a break every once in a while and get some exercise as it could really benefit you.

We look forward to seeing you at Regents Park this Saturday!
