On Friday the 19th May, Our U12 & U13 Market Road Girls did us all proud as they battled it out in their cup finals.

 Unfortunately it wasn’t our day, with the U13’s losing 4-1 and the U12’s losing 4-2.

However, Coach Rhonan still remained optimistic emphasising the the players performed really well and that they were up against some very tough opposition, including the team that had already won their league.

Coach Rhonan also had a message following the girls’ games:

“Thanks for all your support guys! The progress of the club, the teams, and players comes from the love and passion you all put in. It inspires me to keep working on myself. The energy  gives me life ❤

Ruben, Nikos, Keeley thanks for coming down and supporting, your help was amazing! 

But not just today! Throughout the seasons your support with whatever i need regarding coaching and the teams I take  has made life easy. Whether it's talking football technical/tactical, logistics, letting me have a moan, or being a shoulder to lean on, or cry on like today you guys are always there! Thank you.”

This has capped off a tremendously strong season for our girls’ teams across the club, with 2 market road cup finals, our U12 Rebel girls going undefeated in their league, a cup quarter final for our U12 Spartan girls, as well as our U14 girls becoming the CGL Division 2 League champions.

We are really proud of how well the girls have performed this season and can’t wait to see how they progress next season.
