Why do we need habits?

Why do we need habits?

"We are what we repeatedly do.

Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.”

-Aristotle

What habits are you trying to form today and why?

Our coaches aim to instil good habits in our players. Players need to practice regularly to maximise their potential.

The purpose of practice is to develop good habits and thus maximise potential.

Our partnership with Jus Ball has meant they now show us the latest tools and techniques that they use for their professional athletes.

Therefore, we encourage players to practice their ball mastery and ball juggling habits as much as possible during the week. This includes step overs, toe taps, cruyff turns and more.

Our lesson is that we need to help our players learn the game but our players are the ones who have to develop discipline and consistency.

One last quote from Aristotle “Good habits formed at youth make all the difference”
