Coach Keeley is one of the founder's coaches and she's the one that takes care of our little angels, our chibis ballers. We couldn't be more proud of having her with the Regent's Park FC coaching family and we are pleased to share her words and thoughts on this long season. 

Another year has finished with my U6 group and what an unusual year it has been for everyone but, that has not stopped us regardless of the challenges we all faced.

I have been with the club for 16 years and taught this age group for around 13 of those. All the little ones in my group are amazing characters and seeing their progression throughout the year has been more than a pleasure. My group ranges between 3-5yr olds so as the season closes we say goodbye to some of our group as they progress on to the U7.

The atmosphere on a Saturday morning with my group is vibrant, seeing the smiles and joy on their faces as they arrive to greet me and then throughout the session. Many of the group do not know each other outside of the club yet the relationship they have all built is amazing to see, they have built friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime. 

For many of my players, this is the first time they have experienced football coaching and I'm lucky enough to be able to not only introduce them to the game but also continually see a huge improvement with their ball control and knowledge.

My biggest reward as a coach is I think the same as many coaches within the club and that is seeing our players develop as both people and footballers. We play a key role in their love of the game so knowing we can provide this for them in a fun and safe way is what drives us to be the best coaches we can be and help shape our footballing future stars.

My aim for these players is to always be a better person/coach than I was yesterday. As always I am excited for next season continuing to help with the growth of all my existing group as well as welcoming all the new young ones who will join the regents family.
